Would, Could, and the Future Stem

Bailar = to dance. Think "ballerina" — bailarín in Spanish is dancer.

This lesson reviews the future tense and introduces the conditional ("would"). Both use the same principle: add endings to the FULL infinitive.

Future endings (from haber): -é, -emos, -á, -án, -ás

Conditional key sound: -ía (added to full infinitive). This -ía gives you I, he/she/it, and you (formal) all at once. Then add -mos, -n, -s for the other persons.

Se with the conditional for "it would get ___": Se transformaría = It would get transformed. Se contaminaría = It would get contaminated.

Me imagino = I imagine. Me imaginaría que... = I would imagine that...
